Sabrina Thompson
Hair Stylist
My career began in 2003 at the Richard Ward Hair and Metro Spa Salon in London. Having qualified as a stylist, I became a Ketastase specialist and trained in Mizani.
Since then, I have sought to expand my craft by ensuring that I am fully trained in every aspect of hair services.
My areas of expertise include working hair of all textures, Cutting, Colour, Extensions, Hair Health Specialist, Blowouts and Updo's and Bridal Hair on all hair types
During my time at Richard Ward, I was selected as a trainer and mentor to the apprentice team. In 2012, I served as an educator in the industry and was appointed by L’Oreal, as their Nationwide Mizani Ambassador and Afro Caribbean Hair Care Specialist. I most recently became a Mago Extensions Specialist.
In recognition and acknowledgment of my expertise, I was chosen to be part of the team responsible for styling and arranging the hair of the Bridal party for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. This has led to my skills being spotlighted across numerous shows and notable events such as London Fashion Week, where I worked alongside fashion designers Marc Jacob, Caroline Charles and Longshaw Ward; The Hairdresser Journal Live; The Fellowship Awards for British Hairdressing; and The National Wedding Show where I looked after VIP guest and applied my consultation skills in sharing advice and techniques for brides to be; and I most recently, took part in The Atlanta Fashion Week.
My work has also appeared in international publications, most notably; Hello, OK and Black Hair and Beauty Magazine, as well as, the BBC and ITV TV show “What not to Wear” hosted by the Dynamic Duo Trinny and Susannah. Most recently, I was featured in “Car Pool Cosmetics” in Dubai Hosted by Olivia Phillips, editor for Harpers Bazaar Magazine
Throughout my extensive career, I have cultivated an incredibly loyal following of clients from all demographics, who value my creativity, judgment, integrity and positive disposition.
As an internationally known hairstylist, I currently travel between the USA (GA, TN, NY) and London, UK.
